The ADVANCE WINCH range also has a very high power to weight ratio, the largest model weighing only 4kg. This, in conjunction with the winches small below deck profile of only 85mm makes these winches perfectly designed for a complete range of trailer boats where anchor locker space is at a premium or where the winch motor is to be fitted inside cabin area.
The winch uses reversible high-speed permanent magnet motors. All output planet and sun gears are made from High tensile nitrided steel which gives superb wear resistance and strength.
This range of winch is also designed to be an excellent choice for davit and Cray pot fishing being completely marine sealed and UV proof. This means the winch can be mounted in the open rather than having to make making up special covers to protect the winch from the environment. Included in the package are stainless steel fitting bolts and one rubberized foot. .
